Quick LOTD for you all today with the recently released Bardot bodycon dress from Miss Chelsea that’s out now at FaMESHed. It’s a perfectly sculpted, curvy little number, available in 6 neutral colours and 6 brights.

We’ve styled it up with the Bollywood peeptoe pumps from JD available still at Uber’s spice themed round. I accessorized with a visor that’s new from Foxes, and a heavy gold chain from Mandala. While Harper added some sultry shades.

We fall like leaves in the garden of Eden

I’ve finally found some time to squeeze out a quick picture for you guys! I can honestly say that I’ve really missed blogging the past couple of months, I’d forgotten how relaxing it is just to sit an edit pictures.

Anyway, I’m wearing the recently released Tia hair from Tableau Vivant, which you can grab now at the Arcade, along with the fancy hair piece which is a rare.

A little bit slow on blogging this skin, it was Glam Affair’s Luna release for last month’s Collabor88 but I honestly have not taken it off. I wore the no eyebrows version and added some from another GA skin, but it’s been my new favourite for over a month now!

I hope I can carve out more time for pictures and things soon, I know I’ve said that in my last couple of posts as well but I so doooo!

Three days on a drunken sin

FaMESHed opened it’s 3rd anniversary round today, with a ton of great brands participating and a lot of them offering free gifts as part of the celebration!

I was thrilled to be able to be part of this with Miss Chelsea, we’ve released this simple tank and buttoned shorts at the event and are giving away a pair of the shorts in an exclusive colour for free! So make sure you visit, join the FaMESHed update group and grab those. We made this set to be versatile additions to any inventory, it’s pretty easy to style them up boho fashion with some long hair, ribbons, beads and sandals, or go a little bit punk with some torn hold ups, boots and messy hair like I did here.

To finish off this look I added some new releases from Uber too. Their neon round was full of crazy cool items to choose from, and even if you’re not a fan of actual neons, most of the things came in neutrals too. I’m wearing the hair from Olive, glasses from Random Matter and bag from Zenith, all of which can be picked up there.

Won’t let you out of my sight

Ok yep, I gave this a very cheesy title but obviously it’s for a good reason!

I had a lot of fun playing Baywatch with 2 of my very good friends for this picture, even though they peer pressured me to change my display name to Pamela “in the spirit of things!” However, since they had made this fabulous life guard station and accessories, I obliged them.

You can find the station at Uber, which opened a new round today. In keeping with it’s “Miami Neon” theme, it comes in 3 bright neon colours as well as a set of 3 more natural shades. It’s animated to seat up to 3 avatars at a time (all the poses used in this picture are animations it comes with) and includes a bunch of matching decor. All for just 400L. It’s a great buy and a fun piece, perfect for summer which is getting closer every day. Taking this picture made me realise how much I can’t wait for some sunshine!

Rode the wind off a beaten track

Shiny Shabby opens today with a new round and I’m super excited to share this dress with you guys, from my new brand Miss Chelsea. This will be our first event so I’m nervous and thrilled all at the same time. We decided to go with a vintage style, lace sun dress. Perfect for spring, easy to pair with sandals and a light cardigan, or tattoos and boots for an edgier look. It comes in standard sizes, and includes versions for the Belleza Venus, SLink Physique and we’ve made a version for the Maitreya Lara. The Maitreya version is not official, since the developers kit for that is not yet available, but all 3 of us in this picture are wearing it and it fits nicely. But please try the demo.

Also I simply cannot be more in love with this hair from Lamb. It’s for the TAG gacha, and even though I personally found this a huge pain to have to get the HUD, activate it, etc etc, when I was in a rush to grab the hair and take a picture, it was worth it, because it couldn’t have completed this look better.

Finally I completed the little scene with a new tyre swing from Cheeky Pea at Kustom9, a great spring decor item!

Ain’t No Sunshine

Alright, I know it’s been a while since I did a proper blog post. So here’s one right now! Did you know Lelutka released 3 mesh heads on Wednesday? If you’ve paid any kind of attention to blogs, Flickr or Plurk over the past week then of course you did! Well I had to give them a go to, so here I am sporting Leda.

Glam Affair worked alongside Lelutka as far as skin basics and also skin appliers, the other great news is that Maitreya was along for some of it too. So now the Maitreya Lara mesh body, and the Lelutka mesh heads will all match perfectly! I cannot be more thrilled that 3 of my most favourite brands on the grid are collaborating on these, and honestly, I’d love for them to work on even more together.

One of the best things about mesh heads (in my opinion) is the ability to use SL’s lighting and shadows all over the place, without the light hitting it at weird angles and highlighting unflattering parts (usually around the mouth area, especially on my shape where it’s quite pronounced). It can be a lot of bother in pictures, and usually I end up having to take a few different ones and layering them, just so that my face doesn’t look messed up. No need for that with a mesh head though. Just flawless light and shadows every time.

If you want to look picture perfect, I definitely recommend them. Make sure you have a good play with the demos and look out for more skin creators making appliers in the future!

Miss Chelsea – Now open!

 

After a lot of hard work I’m so happy to announce that Miss Chelsea is finally open! We have a small debut collection for you, with all items mix and matchable. If you follow my blog regularly then you’ll know I’m a huge fan of high waist skirts / pants, and am always thrilled when new ones are released, so of course we had to make a few of those. The high waist pencil skirt, zipped mini and panel leggings are all classic and staple designs that you can easily mix and match with other items. Including our new bralet top, and the cropped long sleeve top. Both of which easily styleable (apparently that’s not a word, but I’m determined to use it – same as matchable!) and able to be dressed up or down.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My personal favourite though is probably the naked shift dress. It’s sexy, scooped back and tight fit around the hips makes it perfect for a night out. It’s one of those classic items when, if you don’t know what else to wear, you can throw it on and instantly make an impact.

New fashion brand – Miss Chelsea!

It’s been a long time coming but I’m excited to finally announce the launch of a new fashion brand that I’ve been collaborating on with Dave Freeman of JD. I did make an announcement on Flickr a couple of days ago, but with everything finalised I decided to make it more formal with a post!

This is something that we’ve been working on in our spare time for several months and even with bumps and RL getting in the way, we’ve managed to pull it together. We’re holding a blogger preview for members of the SL Blogger Support group in world, that will be from 9am SLT today, for 24 hours. The official opening is 10am SLT on Friday 3rd April. We’re also having an open invite launch party on Friday at 6pm SLT, so feel free to join us!
