Would Like To Meet

Sometimes I want to do a blog post coz I’m in the mood to edit a picture, but I’m feeling too lazy to set anything up. I felt like that today and since I just spruced up my living room with some new Loft pieces I figured I’d take a snap of that, then spend some time editing. However, the picture really didn’t need that much and aside from brightening and cropping it, this is pretty much a raw shot. Hope you like!

Fly Away

This dress was released by Glam Affair a few days ago for C88 and I just couldn’t resist taking a picture with it. The cut is super sexy with it’s plunging backline and a nice helping of side boob (always a winner!) but without being trashy in the least. I really think it’s a bargain at only 88Ls and at that price I’ve picked up 2 colours already and planning to go back for a couple more.

I loved this necklace from Donna Flora when I saw it on my bff Harper from Pixel Pantomime a few months ago, but I never really had the chance to wear it till now, since getting fancy is not something I do a lot. Donna Flora’s jewels always shine with fantastic texturing and this necklace (which comes with matching earrings) is no different.

The classic updo I’m wearing was released by Truth last week and fitted perfectly with this look.

Tea For Two

Ok so technically it’s hot chocolate not tea, but hot chocolate for two doesn’t have quite the same ring to it. I was just sitting here in world like this, in my new apartment with my new furniture so I thought I’d snap a quick picture. Although now the more I look at it the more it kind of depresses me and Mr Bear doesn’t seem too impressed either.

LOTD & Exile at Hair Fair

This is my LOTD and another new release from Hair Fair! This one is from Exile and again it’s mesh but with these decorative feathers as an optional attachment to wear with it. Also new in this picture is the sweater from Toki Doki. It’s so comfortable looking with it’s chunky knit texture and is the perfect type of sweater that I’d just want to curl up in of an evening.

Still Meshing Around – Stepford Style

Monday morning blues anyone? I probably should’ve made a cheery picture today but instead here’s one to wallow in that emo-ness.

The lingerie set I’m wearing is by Whippet & Buck at C88. It’s a nice classic little set and I love the peach colour it comes in, since it fits with my favourite nude colours of late.

The pose is by Penchant which is actually a little side project for me. I’ve been making a few things just for me and for fun lately but I decided to put them up for sale on the marketplace as well. There’s not much there right now but here’s the link anyway.

I used a simple setting, just a couple of bits from What’s Next and Lisp. I spent a little bit of time at the Home and Garden Expo yesterday and if I’m honest I think I was just completely overwhelmed with the huge offering of goodness. I only looked at 2 sims but I don’t think there was a single vendor there that I didn’t want to buy something from. So hopefully over the next couple of days I’ll compose myself and go back ha.

So I’m going to wallow in my Monday morning blues for a couple more hours, then start looking forward to the week!
