Mourning – Vintage Fair Preview Part 4

When I first saw this dress from Eclectic Apparel that I’m wearing, I said to my friend Harper “that makes me wanna get my Amy (Winehouse) on”. So that’s exactly what we did. It’s available in lots of bright colours too, but for some reason I was especially drawn to the black.

Harper is wearing a new release from Gizza Creations who are one of the sponsors at the fair. I’ll update this post with a link to her credits later on when she’s posted, because she I know she caught a few snaps too. *UPDATE* I added the link at the bottom of the post.

I don’t really have much else to say today, we took this picture 2 days ago and yesterday it turned out that it was very appropriate.

There Is Always Hope

I’m a girl. Quite a girly girl in fact, but I’m also a football fan and I can even, shock horror, explain the offside rule!

Clearly from the picture above I’m English and there comes a certain amount of heart ache with following the English football team because, well, we never win anything. You also have to be a bit of realist, especially this year because let’s face it, the only way we’re going to win is if lady luck is smiling down on us.

Despite all that, I just can’t help but hope.

So ahead of England’s opening game against France tomorrow in Euro 2012, I just wanted to say good luck and…try not to break my heart too much this year eh boys?

Swing Your Pants

Trev and Simon say “swing your pants!” Well I guess you won’t get that unless you’re from the UK but it made me laugh anyway. I absolutely love these pants from Tutti Frutti (available at Culture Shock…I told you I had too much stuff from there!) they just scream fun to me. You can easily dress them up or down, but I have a tendency to dress things down because I just love to be casual, and they come in a vast array of prints and colours.

The mesh tank is also available at Culture Shock by e! (Eclectic Apparel) and is a definite must have with it’s sexy cleavage, who doesn’t love a tank top.

I’ll just mention the background briefly here, because it’s a fab new mesh house from Scarlet Creative and only 47 prims!!!! It’s our 5th house in 7 weeks! Now anyone who knows me knows that I lived a very sheltered SL up until a few months ago, where all I did was role play for pretty much 5 years and it’s only been within these last 4 months or so that I’ve started to venture out into “mainstream” SL. But 5 houses in 7 weeks? I’m pretty sure that’s not normal. I blame the man. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to feature this house in a couple more posts, because it’s really a fantastic build, so long as he doesn’t make me switch again!
